Christian Raffin is a French, self-taught painter whose work appears in galleries across France and internationally. After a first career as an engineer and industrial director, he turned to painting full-time in 2004. His canvases capture couples in motion, cyclists, and scenes of city life, rendered as blurred silhouettes that suggest rather than describe. By leaving forms indistinct, Raffin invites each viewer to step into the scene and find their own memories and stories within it.
